funvite's scroll templates bring that moment to the phone. The guest taps the wax seal, it breaks, and the scroll unrolls as they swipe — artwork moving in layers, each function appearing in turn like a page of an illuminated manuscript. At the end: the venue map and the RSVP.
What fits on a scroll
Scrolls are read top to bottom, so they suit a long, ordered story: the invocation, the hosts, the couple, then each function in sequence. Keep each function to three lines — name, date and time, venue — and let the art do the rest. If you have a dress code for each night, add it as a short fourth line.
- An invocation or seal mark at the top
- Host names, then the couple
- Functions in date order, each with a map pin
- A closing line from the family
- RSVP with function choices (Pro)
Styles of scroll
- Rajputana: jharokhas, elephants, deep red and gold
- Mughal garden: arches, cypress trees and soft green
- Temple: brass, kolam borders and banana-leaf greens
- Ivory and gold: understated, for an evening reception
