That split is exactly where a digital invite helps. One funvite invite can show the temple muhurtham for family and the reception for everyone, or you can send two versions to two lists. Kerala's Christian and Muslim families have their own forms — see our Christian and nikah pages.
What Kerala families usually include
The card usually names the bride and groom with their parents and family house names, and gives the muhurtham as a window (for example, "between 10.30 and 11.15 am"). Temple weddings often have strict timing and limited space, so families mention who the ceremony is for and invite others to the reception. Sadya timing is useful for guests travelling in.
- Names with parents and family (tharavad) names and hometown
- Muhurtham window and the temple or auditorium
- Sadya timing after the ceremony
- Reception date, time and venue — often a different city
- Map links for both venues
- A contact number for directions on the day
